Honey Moon Travels

This is my first blog post. I Started traveling for official purposes during my second job which was with an indian company . I used to travel to Africa mostly for telecom related software. Will write about those travels in coming blogs . Now i love travel and has a lot share so thought of tipping down all and blog is best way for My Kinda Techie.

Got married on 15 May 2010 and planned for honeymoon travel. Already had two week leaves so was not allowed more leaves in same month so started the trip on 5th June . I Used to stay in Dwarka Delhi those days . As soon as we started from Delhi Driver who was aged though got caught for over speeding just after a fly over. Though driver was not very keen to drive us directly to

Dalhousie in one go but as we booked a package and bookings were also in place so he drove.

It was really a tiresome but scenic road which took us to Dalhousie - Hotel Dalhousie Heights. Room was well decorated and we got complementary cake which was delicious .

Next Day we started after breakfast to visit the chamba temple which was mentioned in itenary. I had very few trips before this so was not much aware about how to see places and build good itenary for yourself so followed whatever was there in package. Chamba Temple was ancient temple which offered calmness and purity. We were delighted to see such temple . Moved back to local dalhousie by evening and went to see sunset .

Next day started with a place called Kajihar also known as Mini Switzerland due to topographical resemblance with Switzerland. Enjoyed the time there . Got clicked in traditional Himachal dress. We did a trek also up to dain kund , There is a temple of goddess there . The view from there is worth the trekking.

Next morning again started for long drive that was - Dalhousie to Manali . Scenic drive with drizzle in between made the journey enjoyable. Reached manali late in the evening so stayed in hotel only. Started next day by moving towards rohtang pass. Came to know that there was huge traffic jam on way and we can only reach near to a valley where muddy snow is there to see.

Travel tip : Jackets and Skats available at cheaper price dont buy from a place where taxi driver stops. We took a package of skating + Dress in 2500 which was over costly. Though it wasn't the snow we were looking for but managed some how to keep our selves cheerful.

On Way to Manali

As it was last day of our trip we visited what ever we could on that day like vashisth , Hadimba temple, Club house etc. Did shopping from club house for everyone as it was first trip so wanted to get some thing for everyone at home. Wanted to go to manikaran while returning to delhi but driver denied as it was not mentioned in package . Turned back to delhi with nice honeymoon memories.
