Pavapuri....Religious Serene Gateway- Part 2

Finally i got time from my fully busy office days to write up the remaining part of the travel to Pavapuri Jeev Maitri Dhaam. We spent quite good time in Jeeravala that day . Had dinner just before revdar it was very basic restaurant but served freshly cooked food . We had the marwadi haldi ki sabji , Tukkad Roti , Paneer dish , Dal . All were very good . After having dinner we drove back to Pavapuri . Stayed back there over night.

Got up early in morning to see sunrise just from back of the rooms around lush green gardens. Wanted a lazy morning so went to breakfast without taking bathe. Had breakfast and got ready for the days sight seeing . Started from pavapuri , back on udaipur around 2 km there is left turn for Sundha Mata . We reached there at 12:30 took the tickets for RopeWay.

It is 130 Per person for Adult and 65 for kids and Senior Citizen [Including Both Ways].

Though i already visited the place in rainy season which was a bliss , will add those pics as well in in Jodhpur trip blog just to show the change of weather to the placed. Sundha mata temple is built over hill and very nice historic temple . Its Entrance is almost a cave which takes you to main temple. On the exit you have Agni Kund where you can offer the dry coconut to god. There is big Trishul also where people like to get pictures.

Other than rainy season you can go in the back side of temple to see sand dunes there and enjoy camel ride etc. After taking some pictures on sand dunes we moved back downstairs from same RopeWay . There is Nominal charges bhojanalay also both upstairs and downstairs which serves basic clean food in Rs 10/- . I feel this charges is just to make sure no unwanted person gets in and waste food. As we wanted to have food in pavapuri we only had snacks like dosa etc out side Sundha Mata .

Came back to pavapuri at 5:15 and directly went for dinner which was about to close at 5:25 PM due to sunset time being 5:40 or so . After dinner kids did Camel Ride , Horse ride and then enjoyed the swings and slides in the Garden. We enjoyed the evening bhajan's , Coffee out side the pavapuri before going to bed.

We discussed that either we can go back directly to udaipur and take rest or we can go to udaipur via Amba Ji , Finally we did a vote where just 1 vote extra for amba ji and we decided to start new year in Amba Ji . Woke up in morning had breakfast in pavapuri which was again a bliss pramal poha , Ghee Khicha churi , Mung . Left for amba ji after breakfast , loved the ghaat section driving. There is ample parking of personal parking providers with minimal parking charges. We went insde the temple but the temple was about to open in 15-20 minutes , we waited as well . Queue was maintained properly there once the gate opened queue got short very soon so we waited till queue got empty .

Ambaji is a beautiful temple also the place is famous for good quality kumkum, after the darshan we had prasaad laddu and then moved out side for lunch. Just opposite the ambaji temple we walked few meters to left and chose one restaurant . The food was sumptuous, one of best butter naan we had - it was having very thin multiple layer in the naan. After the darshan we returned to udaipur with a happy new year feeling in heart .
